Tasks and teamwork

Task planning, one clear next step at a time.

Open the task instead of asking “Who was taking care of this?” again. Keep the work, the people and the dates together, so you can pick up where you left off.

Start with one small piece of work

You don’t have to sort out the whole week at once. Pick one task with a clear outcome that you can share with your team.

  1. Open the relevant project and create a task. Give it a title that describes what someone will deliver.
  2. Choose assignees who have access to the project. You can assign more than one person when it is a shared job.
  3. Add start and due dates, a time estimate and any checklist items you need. Look over the plan together before saving.

Give everyone a place in the task

A task can have several assignees. Check who has access to the project so the work reaches the right people.

Personal tasks belong to you. For team work, use a project your teammates can access; team membership alone does not grant access to every project.

Keep the plan beside the work

Check off smaller steps, run the timer while you work and follow progress from the task. If the plan changes, you can update its dates and details.

If the project requires a review, that workflow still applies. Setting a task date does not start its timer automatically.
