A small task glossary
What does each task step mean?
A task can show a few different states. Each answers a different question: who is doing it, when are they working, and has the work been checked?
Assignee / Sorumlu
The person who will work on the task. Shared project tasks can have several assignees. Being able to view, edit and track time are different permissions; if an action is missing, first check your assignment and project access.
Acceptance / Kabul
“Accept, start later” / “Kabul et, sonra başla” accepts the assignment. “Accept and start” / “Kabul et ve başla” accepts it and starts your own timer. The other assignees’ timers are not affected.
Timer / Zamanlayıcı
Choose “Start” / “Başlat” when you begin. “Pause” / “Duraklat” takes a break; “Resume” / “Sürdür” continues. “Stop” / “Durdur” closes the session. A planned date and a time estimate are not time already worked.
Time log / Süre kaydı
This is where timer sessions and manual time entries can be inspected. Check whose work each entry records. Recording the same work with both the timer and a manual entry can count it twice.
Submit for review / İncelemeye gönder
Sends the current work to a reviewer when review is required; it does not complete the task by itself. Submitted content and assignments stay fixed while the review is open. Submitting can close and save your own open time sessions; other people manage their own time.
Approve / Onayla · Request changes / Değişiklik iste
An eligible reviewer checks the submitted version and makes a decision. Doing the task and reviewing it are different jobs; you cannot approve your own submission. If changes are requested, read the feedback, make the permitted edits and submit a new review.
Withdraw submission / Gönderimi geri çek · Reopen / Yeniden aç
When permitted, withdrawing brings an open submission back to editing. Reopening returns approved work to the working stage; earlier decisions stay in its history. Neither action starts your timer automatically.
Completion / Tamamlama
Personal tasks do not need a reviewer. In shared projects, the project’s review policy determines how completion works. You cannot switch a required review off for one task; follow the action offered on the task.
